Dickerson Eliminates Roiter to Reclaim Chip Lead
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Alex Foxen raised to 30,000 from early position, and Klemens Roiter three-bet to 98,000 from the hijack. Jules Dickerson then four-bet to 175,000 in the cutoff. Foxen folded, but Roiter five-bet all-in for 683,000, and Dickerson called.
Klemens Roiter: Q♠Q♥
Jules Dickerson: A♥K♣
It was the second time in short succession that Roiter had queens face-up preflop, both times getting the money in with the best hand.
Unfortunately for Roiter, it was the same outcome as his previous altercation, as the 8♠A♦3♥10♥2♣ board gave Dickerson top pair and ended Roiter's tournament.
