Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress ran as purely as possible in $30,000 NLH 8-Handed to win his seventh Triton title, but he won't be winning an eighth in the $40,000 Mystery Bounty.

A five-bet pot saw Dvoress shoving and Chen Mingcong re-shoving to put the Canadian at risk.

Mingcong Chen: K♥K♦

Dvoress was on the right side of the cooler before the flop landed K♠5♥8♥ to put Mingcong far in front with a set. The 6♥ turn gave Dvoress outs to a flush, but the Q♠ river bricked off to mark the seven-time champion's elimination.

Things Swing in Ketola's Direction

After losing a nearly $2 million pot minutes into their heads-up match, Ossi Ketola has turned things around by winning a $3.5 million pot off Wiktor Malinowski.

Ketola held pocket kings for an overpair to crush Malinowski's top pair of queens with ace-queen. Kings have been the hand to beat this match as Malinowski's kings full beat Ketola's straight in the aforementioned hand.

Massive Suckout Sees "Limitless" Win $1.8 Million Pot

A slow roll gone wrong saw Ossi Ketola losing a $1,810,000 pot against Wiktor "Limitless" Malinowski after a wild runout in the $2 Million Heads-Up Battle.

Less than a half hour into the match, the two played a big pot that saw Malinowski flopping top set and Ketola turning a straight.

All the chips got in on the turn, but it took Ketola some time as he slow rolled Malinowski with the nuts before stating that he felt like karma would see him losing the hand.

He was correct as the dealer paired the board on the river to send the nearly $2 million pot Malinowski's way as he locked up the first match. But Ketola wasn't done as he re-bought into the match for $2 million.
