It looked like there was going to be no preflop betting until the action reached Andreas Leledakis in the hijack and he raised to 900. Dean Hutchinson called from the next seat along and Morten Mortensen stuck along for the ride in the big blind.
Mortensen checked the arrival of the flop and both Leledakis and Hutchinson checked behind. The turn was checked by Mortensen, bet to the tune of 1,500 by Leledakis which prompted folds from his two opponents.
A raise to 850 from Dimitiros Leventis in early position was first called by Derek Kavanagh in the next seat along and then raised all-in for 7,000 more by Zigmas Pekarskas in the big blind. Leventis called the all-in bet, but Kavanagh folded.
"Have you got a pocket pair?" asked Levenits
"No." came the reply.
"I think you're ahead anyway."
Leventis was correct, his trailed the all-in player's , but only until the flop. The catapulted Pekarskas back into the lead and the river came the Pekarskas doubled his stack.
The tournament is slightly less shark infested right now due to two talented players busting during the level.
Mudasser Hussian has a great record in Scotland but won't be expanding on that in this event while John Eames has a long drive home to Southport after crashing out as Level 4 began.

Pavols Xanthapoulos opened the betting with a raise to 700 from under the gun. Imro Sendar called from the cutoff, Jan Magnus Karlsson called on the button and Koert Westerman called from the big blind.
The foursome watched on as the flop came into view, with Westerman greeting its arrival with a 1,200 bet. Xanthapoulos folded, as did Sendar but Karlsson tossed in some calling chips.
The turn was the and Westerman check-called a 2,500 bet from Karlsson, but that was the end of the betting because when the completed the board both players checked.
