Bohdanov Doubles Through Yotsushika

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The cards of Kazuhiko Yotsushika were already mucked and several players at the table gasped as Renat Bohdanov had rivered two pair for a seemingly unlikely double.

Bohdanov's 76 were still exposed and they had made sevens and sixes on a board of 87236. The double was worth 54,500, sending Bohdanov's stack into six figures.

"I Just Won These"

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Alan Casuo raised to 1,200 from middle position and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind.

The flop was K96 and Negreanu check-called again when Casuo bet 1,200.

Negreanu checked again on the 2 turn and called a bet of 4,500. The river was 4.

After Negreanu checked for a third time, Casuo tossed out 16,000.

Negreanu took a sip of water and swished it around in his mouth.

"I don't think I'm going to fold," Negreanu said as he talked out the possibilities. "But I just won these fair and square."

He eventually called and turned over K10 for a pair of kings. Casuo showed A7 for ace-high and Negreanu took the pot.

"Goonight!" Buckner Gets An Applause After Freerolling Parys

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Steven Buckner
Steven Buckner

Millionaire Maker final tablist Maxime Parys was all in against the always rambunctious Steven Buckner.

Maxime Parys: 1010
Steve Buckner: 1010

The two players had the same hand but the 2K3 flop had "Cuz" freerolling with a flush draw. "Oh, I've got the spade draw!" he cheered. "How 'bout putting a spade out there?"

The dealer then put down the J turn to have Parys drawing dead. "Spade, right there! Goodnight!" roared Buckner as the tournament room burst into spontaneous applause. "You're all playing for second!"

The 4 river didn't change anything and Buckner wished his opponent well as he hit the rail.

Mercier Goes Runner Runner to Double

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Picking up the action on the J109 flop, Natasha Mercier check-raised a bet of 1,400 by Jonathan Moritz and then called all-in when her opponent jammed.

Natasha Mercier: Q10
Jonathan Moritz: J8

"I really like your hand," Mercier said with a smile on the face. The 7 turn and K river runout gave Mercier running cards to a flush and she doubled.

"Now not anymore," Moritz replied.

Barbero Eliminated by Roberts

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Nacho Barbero
Nacho Barbero

A larger pot emerged between Nacho Barbero on the button and Christian Roberts in the big blind. They were on the Q76Q10 river on which Roberts had checked and Barbero bet 25,500.

The check-shove of Roberts followed and Barbero was outright disgusted, then bemoaned the situation and mulled it over. Nearly one minute later, he called it off and Roberts tabled the Q10 for a full house.

Barbero briefly flashed his cards for what appeared to be a flopped set and inferior full house.

"You run so bad against me," Roberts declared while Barbero quickly left the crime scene.

Kristen Foxen

In a three-way pot on a board of 7Q73, Kristen Foxen bet 6,500 in middle position and only Igor Gogus called in the hijack.

Foxen then bet 18,000 on the 3 river and Gogus slid his cards to the muck.

Fergenbaum Scores a Knockout

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The pocket sevens of Gabriel Nobrega were all but mucked when he left his chair and grabbed all his belongings. His chips moved one spot to the right and Matthew Fergenbaum collected them. Fergenbaum's QQ had been ahead all the way on a board of A105A3 and the last 15,000 or so of Nobrega found a new owner.
