Koon Puts in a Bubble Four-Bet

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Vladimir Minko raised to 80,000 in middle position and Joao Vieira three-bet to 210,000 in the cutoff.

Jason Koon was on the button and used a few time banks before emerging with a four-bet to 350,000. Minko quickly folded, but Vieira also burned through his time banks and eventually called.

The flop came J62 and Vieira checked to Koon, who used another time bank and bet 130,000. Vieira quickly folded.

"Show the deuce," Minko said as Koon took the pot without showing.

"I had a one, does that count?" Koon replied.

Zubov Takes Two From Holz

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 80,000 on the button and Alexander Zubov called in the big blind.

Holz continued for 65,000 on the AQ4 flop and Zubov called. Both players then checked the Q turn.

Zubov led out for 225,000 on the Q river and Holz folded.

A few hands later, Holz opened to 80,000 in the hijack and Zubov three-bet to 300,000 on the button.

While Holz considered the decision, Jason Koon returned to the table carrying three big water bottles.

"Who needs hydrating? All this folding will dry you up," Koon said as he handed out the bottles to his tablemates.

Holz eventually folded and Zubov took another pot.
