Ketzer Continues to Apply Pressure

The action was picked up on the flop in a hand between Shahraz Khan from the small blind and Felipe Ketzer in the big blind, with each player contributing 24,000 each preflop to create a pot of 54,000.

On the 553 flop, Ketzer put out a continuation bet before Khan check-raised to 60,000. Ketzer then three-bet to 136,000, and Khan called.

The turn was the K. Khan check-called a bet of 137,000 from Ketzer.

On the 6 river, Ketzer cut out a final barrel of 285,000 and Khan swiftly folded.

Alkamli Picks the Wrong Time to Shove

Tamer Alkamli got his last 120,000 in the middle from the small blind as Brian Kim put him at risk on the button.

Kim had Alkamli dominated as the board ran out 9394J, earning Kim the pot with his ace-kicker and sending Alkamli to the rail.

Deer Kim, I Raised You But You Still Ain't Callin'

Deer Kim opened in early position and Thiago Macedo called on the button as the big blind also came along.

Kim bet 13,000 on the flop of 4Q3 and only Macedo called. Kim then sized up to 50,000 on the J turn and Macedo laid it down.

The next hand, Thiago Macedo raised from under the gun and Kim defended his big blind. Kim checked on the 1065 flop and Macedo continued for 10,000. Kim laid it down.

Hum Flips Paticchio to the Rail

Giovanni Paticchio moved all in for 130,000 from the hijack and Geoffrey Hum called in middle position.

Paticchio was racing for his tournament life but couldn't connect with the 94K39 board as Hum took the pot with his fives to send Paticchio to the rail.

Aydin Takes it at Showdown

Joao Vieira opened 12,000 in the hijack, Eliot Hudon called on the button, followed by Eran Aydin in the big blind.

When the K33 flop hit the felt, both Aydin and Vieira checked to Hudon who fired 14,000 across the line. Only Aydin made the call.

No more bets went in on the J turn or Q river and Aydin rolled K8 for kings and treys to drag the pot.

O'Nan Catches Jaka Making a Move

Heads up on a flop of K78, Faraz Jaka bet 12,000 from under the gun and Steven O'Nan raised to 38,000 in the big blind. Jaka called and the Q fell on the turn.

O'Nan bet 60,000 and Jaka called. O'Nan slowed down and checked the 7 river, and Jaka bet 125,000.

O'Nan quickly called and Jaka instantly mucked, allowing O'Nan to take the pot without showing.

Zegal Inflicts a Massive Cooler on Burford

Mark Burford was in the hijack with a raise of 130,000 in front of him before Stanislav Zegal reraised to 230,000 in the small blind. Burford then moved all in for 470,000 and Zegal snap-called.

Burford found himself on the wrong end of the ultimate cooler as Zegal turned over a pair of aces. The board ran out 9358Q and Burford was sent to the rail while the defending champion raked in the big pot.

Ustimov Gets Paid with Trip Kings

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The K53K turn was already on the felt and Viktor Ustimov led for 15,000 from the big blind into the pot of roughly 55,000. Orpen Kisacikoglu made the call from the cutoff and the dealer rolled the Q on the river.

Ustimov fired again, this time sizing up to 61,000. Kisacikoglu took a few seconds before tossing in a chip to make the call and Ustimov rolled K2 for trip kings. Kisacikoglu mucked his hand as he paid off the bet.

Kim Snaps Off Lin on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Brian Kim and Jianwei Lin checked through to the turn on a board of Q310J. Lin then bet 50,000 from the button and Kim called in the hijack.

The river was the 9 and Lin moved all in for 101,000. Kim snap-called with KJ for a rivered straight, and Lin tossed 22 into the muck as he made his way to the exit.

Krpan Jams on Lin

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jianwei Lin in the small blind and John Krpan in the hijack had built a pot of 250,000 going to the river.

With the board reading 882JQ, Lin led with a bet of 150,000 before Krpan stacked his chips and slid his entire 392,000 stack into the middle, roughly the same amount as Lin had. Lin thought it over before ultimately deciding to fold, conceding the pot to Krpan without showdown.
