Matas Cimbolas opened to 320,000 in early position and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 1,100,000 on his left. Diego Ventura four-bet to 2,300,000 from the cutoff and the action folded back to Petrangelo who five-bet shoved all in. Ventura sigh-called off his stack of around 7,800,000 and the cards were on their backs.

It was a massive preflop cooler that Petrangelo found himself on the right side of for the time being. The board ran out Q962J and Ventura was eliminated, putting Petrangelo among the leaders.

With over 1,000,000 in the middle the turn read 862Q and Namhyung Kim check-called a bet of 900,000 from Nick Maimone.

The A landed on the river and Kim checked it over once again. Maimone thought about it for a few moments while asking to see Kim's stack. Eventually, he decided on a check and Kim tabled KJ for a busted flush draw before he showed KK.

Lache checked on the flop of 379 and Boeree continued for 250,000. Lache called with his five-high.

Lache checked again on the K turn and Boeree sized up to 600,000. Lache laid it down.

Eric Yanovsky raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and Rainer Kempe called on the button. Roeland Peeks then reraised to 1,900,000 in the big blind and Yanovsky folded, but Kempe moved all in. Peeks took a moment before calling for an additional 200,000.

"Queen-jack of spades. I'm the greatest player of all time," Yanovsky said when Peeks turned over his pair of kings. The board ran out 354Q7 and Peeks doubled up.

At the same time at another table, John Ripnick also put in 1,900,000 from the button and Pablo Melogno shoved in early position. Ripnick took a minute before calling off the rest of his remaining few chips.

Melogno hit a set on the A324 board, while the Q arrived on the river too late to save Ripnick from being sent to the payout desk.

Heung Tries Once

Pablo Silva opened 400,000 on the button and Wayne Heung defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of J53, and Heung check-raised a bet of 400,000 to 1,200,000. Silva stuck around with a call.

The K fell on the turn and both players tapped the table to see the 10 on the river. Heung used a time bank before deciding on a check and Silva quickly checked back.

Heung tabled 87 for eight-high and Silva took down the pot with a pair of jacks as he rolled J7.
