Daniel Negreanu’s Thursday vlog is going to be a must-watch. The poker superstar has had a rough start to the $25,000 buy-in WSOP Super Main Event is already on his third bullet in just the first starting flight, meaning he is currently in for $75,000.

The seven-time bracelet winner and Poker Hall of Famer lasted just ten minutes on his first bullet, and he didn't have any more luck with the second.

After a short time battling at a table that included fellow American pro Michael Wang, Negreanu moved across the room to a table with two-time bracelet winner Bryce Yockey, who Negreanu beat heads-up for his 2024 Poker Players Championship title. The table change would prove fatal.

As recounted to PokerNews, Negreanu open-jammed a stack of around 207,000 — good for about 15 big blinds — only to run into the pocket aces of Yockey. A clean runout kept Yockey's aces ahead as Negreanu was eliminated for the second time of the day.

But Negreanu isn't giving up. He earlier remarked "I'm gonna get chips in this one way or another" and is back on a third bullet at a table that includes his friend Jeff Gross and fellow content creator Jeff Boski.
