Thorel Bombs The River

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Kelvin Kerber raised to 3,000 from the hijack before Tom Heung three-bet to 10,500 from the cutoff. When it folded to Jean-Noel Thorel, he made the call, and Kerber folded.

The flop came KK10, and Thorel check-called a bet of 8,000 from Heung.

Both players checked the 9 on the turn, to see the Q on the river. Thorel then overbet the pot, for 60,000, which got a snap-fold from Heung to give Thorel the pot.

On the A65 flop, Shakerchi check-raised to 13,000 over a bet of 4,000 and was called.

Shakerchi then check-called for 13,000 on the K turn, and did the same for 35,000 on the 8 river.

Tavares had AK for aces and kings. Shakerchi conceded the pot, showing his A5 for a smaller two pair.
