Josef Klinger

Josef Klinger shoved under the gun all in for his last 42,000, Action folded to Sotirios Koutoupas in the big blind who made the call.

Sotirios Koutoupas: {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Josef Klinger: {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The flop was good for Koutoupas with {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The turn ({10-Clubs}) and river ({9-Clubs}) were even better, giving the Greek a full house and almost the chip lead.

Peter Jaksland

Sotirios Koutoupas opened under the gun for 24,000 and Andreas Freund made the call two positions down. Peter Jaksland in the cutoff over called and they saw the flop three way: {9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Koutoupas made a 49,000 continuation bet and Freund raised to 121,000 with 260,000 behind. Jaksland now shoved all in for 191,000 total. Koutoupas followed suit and over shoved, decision back on Freund. He tanked for a long time before folding.

Sotirios Koutoupas: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Peter Jaksland: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

Tje {4-Clubs} on the turn was a blank but the {J-Clubs} on the river gave Koutoupas a full house to beat Jaksland's straight.

"Nice to play with you" said Koutoupas while shaking Jaksland's hand. The remaining 15 players are guaranteed €8,750.

Baumann Doubles Through Klinger

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Josef Klinger opened for 18,000 from middle position. Action folded to Gaelle Baumann in the small blind who pushed all in for 167,000. The big blind folded, Klinger made the call.

Josef Klinger: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Gaelle Baumann: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The flop brought nothing to either: {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn saved Baumann though. The {4-Hearts} on the river was a blank and Baumann doubled in the last hand before the break.

"It's not your day today, obviously" said Koutoupas. Klinger didn't reply and just counted his chips.

Freund Not Baumann's Friend

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

Gaelle Baumann opened to 17,000 from early position and Josef Klinger made the call from the button. Andreas Freund in the small blind shoved all in and the big blind folded. Baumann over shoved, Klinger folded.

Baumann: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Freund: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} giving Baumann a flush draw. The {J-Spades} on the turn and {Q-Diamonds} on the river were blanks though, and Baumann handed 118,000 over to Freund.

Some five minutes later, the two would clash again. Baumann once again opened for 17,000, this time Freund was seated in the big blind and he called.

Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop and the {2-Hearts} popped up on the turn. Freund bet out 15,000 and Baumann made the call.

The {Q-Spades} completed the board and Freund bet out 24,000. Baumann thought for some time, before raising to 59,000. Freund wasn't done yet, he three bet to 131,000 and Baumann immediately released.

David Boyaciyan Eliminated in 17th Place (€7,550)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
David Boyaciyan
David Boyaciyan

Gaelle Baumann opened for 17,000 from early position and next door neighbor David Boyaciyan shoved all in for 56,000. Action folded around back to Baumann and she smiled and took one more look at her cards.

"Too much" laughed Boyaciyan.

After about a minute of thinking, Baumann added the other 5 big blinds.

Gaelle Baumann: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
David Boyaciyan: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The flop gave Baumann a flush draw: {7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The {J-Clubs} on the turn made Baumann her flush, but since the board paired Boyaciyan still had some outs.

The river {10-Clubs} wasn't one of them.

"Flush!" Boyaciyan laughed while pointing to the {3-Clubs} he so proudly owned. His flush wasn't good enough though, and he made his exit in 17th place.

Krastev Doubles Through Nanev

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Rumen Nanev opened the button for 16,000 and big blind Vladimir Krastev shoved all in for 116,000. After about a minute of thinking, Nanev made the call by placing a tower of black 5,000 chips worth 100,000 in the middle.

Vladimir Krastev: {10-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Rumen Nanev: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Nanev had a slight advantage going in, but that changed lots after the flop: {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn was a blank and the {2-Hearts} on the river didn't change anything effectively either, double up for Krastev.
