Bell Triples Up

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Bell faced a raise to 17,000 from the player in the cutoff and moved all in for 36,500 from one seat over. The player in the small blind called and so did the original raiser. The {2-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {5-Spades} flop was checked, the player in the small blind then called a bet on the {J-Diamonds} turn before the {10-Clubs} river got checked through again.

Bell showed {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} and tripled up against the pocket sixes of the player in the small blind as well as the {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs} of the other opponent.

Gormati Doubles Through Zihni

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Ali Zihni called a bet of Jamal Gormati on the {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {7-Hearts} flop and then faced the 82,000 shove of his opponent on the {8-Clubs} turn. Zihni called with {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts} but would not be able to improve against the {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs} of his opponent. The {4-Diamonds} river was a blank.

Shortly after, Kenny King raised to 20,000 and folded to the shove of Zihni, revealing the {A-Clubs}. Zihni turned over pocket queens.

Arama Doubles Twice

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Jacques Arama was first all in with {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades} and doubled up against {K-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} when a king on the flop put him on danger only to complete a runner runner straight. He was then all in again with {A-Spades} {5-Clubs} against the {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} of Matas Cimbolas and stayed alive on a board of {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {Q-Spades}.

Two Players Less

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Two players have been eliminated, but one of them didn't have the receipt anymore with the name on it. The other one was Chinthaka Fernando and one out of the two busted with {A-} {J-} versus {A-} {9-} when a nine appeared on the river.

Not Live Enough

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A short stack moved all in for 33,500 from early position and Laurence Essa was in the big blind, having invested 6,000 by default. "Pretty sure I am live," he whispered but apparently not good enough to call. Fold.

Big Double Up for O'Brien

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Alexandra O'Brien

More than 150,000 chips were already in the pot with the board reading {5-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {3-Spades}. Gary Pearce moved all in and Alexandra O'Brien was caught off guard. "Always getting into these stupid hands," she said in table chat. Some more consideration would see her call off for the last 49,500 chips with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} and Pearce held the inferior {A-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}.

The {K-Clubs} river confirmed her double up and she was still in disbelief. "Oh my god, I could have been gone." With shaky hands she stacked the chips and then didn't notice that a player in the seat next to her hadn't acted yet. O'Brien moved all in to scare everyone off and then showed the {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. "I hate pocket kings," she said and received a one hand penalty for acting out of turn.

Gracia Graced with Double Up

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Richard Dickisin raised to 12,500 from the button and Jesus Gracia three-bet to 32,000 out of the big blind. Dickisin called to see the flop of {6-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and Gracia fired a continuation bet of 40,000. Dickisin moved all in with the superior stack and Gracia called off for 169,500 with {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

Dickisin was hoping for diamonds as he held the {4-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}, but bith the {A-Hearts} turn and the {6-Spades} river bricked.
