The First Casualties in the Money

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jose was all in and at risk with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Jean-Jacques Chantalat looked him up with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Chantalat got there on the board of {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and that was the end for the Spaniard.

The next casualty took place on the same table. Hamad Almannai defended his big blind and shoved the flop of {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades} with {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for the open-ender. Thierry Oldak called with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for top two and the {2-Diamonds} turn and {5-Clubs} river were both blanks.

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Khier Rezaik
Khier Rezaik

"Paul" was all in for 10 big blinds with {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and initial raiser Valeryi Chupin called with the {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The double for the Spaniard was confirmed by the time the turn of a board {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades} had come and Paul even improved to a flush. There was another showdown at the same time one table over, though.

AD from Spain raised to 10,000 and Khier Rezaik defended his big blind. On the flop of {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Rezaik check-called a bet of 10,000 and left himself with 15,500 behind, which he check-called on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

Khier Rezaik: {J-Spades}{8-Spades}
AD: {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and that let the bubble burst.

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Il Dieko Rati Vale, who finished third in the MAD 20,000 High Roller, won't be adding another Main Event cash to his poker resume here in Morocco. At the same time on a different table, Benjamin Gonzva moved all in from under the gun for what appeared to be 54,000.
