Move at the Wrong Time

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With only some 40,000 in the middle and the completed board showing {J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, San moved all in by sliding forward a tower of T-5,000 chips. Turbado Tomas Jr called all in for 68,000 and San flipped over {K-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a move gone wrong.

His fellow Spaniard had turned a full house with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and doubled to leave San short.

Down to 60 Players

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Michel Leibgorin won a pot against Fernando Pons with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} when both flopped top pair with the ten to boost his stack further. He is still quite off the monster stack of Daniel, though, while PMU.fr Team Pro Johan Guilbert is doing some work at the tables.

Robert Cohen and Andrei Luncan were eliminated and there are just 60 hopefuls remaining.

Leibgorin Wins a Big Flip to Bust Koja

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a raise by Michel Leibgorin, Jean Koja three-bet to 35,500 and Leibgorin moved all in. Koja had a stack of around 175,000 and called to put himself at risk, being covered by a few big blinds.

Jean Koja: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Michel Leibgorin: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop gave Leibgorin top set and Koja plenty of outs. Both the {7-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river were blanks and Koja was eliminated.

Ten to the Money

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Three further players have been eliminated since action resumed and amoing them was also [Removed:599]. He three-bet shoved for 13 big blinds with the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Helene Gros called with ace-king. That very same hand had previously resulted in the exit of Ludovic Riehl, who only had ace-jack, and Gros claimed the second victim in quick succession when an ace immediately appeared on the flop.

Ahoor Doubles Through Mamouni

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Helene Gros sent table neighbor Ludovic Riehl to the rail soon after play resumed while [Removed:44] doubled through Smain Mamouni.

Mamouni check-raised a heads-up flop of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} before shoving the {5-Spades} turn. Ahoor, who had invested half the stack until that point already, called the shove for his last 48,500.

[Removed:44]: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Smain Mamouni: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {5-Clubs} river failed to improve Mamouni and he traded stacks with Ahoor.

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

According to the tournament screens, there are just 70 players remaining after four levels of 60 minutes each on day 2 and the field is slowly but surely nearing the money bubble with 55 spots guaranteed a portion of the prize pool.

All remaining hopefuls were sent into a 15-minute break and the T-100 chips will now be raced off.

Pencreach Pays Off [Removed:524]

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Joining the action on the three-way flop of {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, the big blind checked and [Removed:520] bet 12,000 from under the gun. PMU.fr online qualifier Remi Pencreach called on the cutoff and the big blind folded.

After the {A-Hearts} turn, [Removed:524] continued for 26,000 and was called before making it 20,000 to go on the {9-Hearts} river. Pencreach took plenty of consideration and called, then sent his cards in the muck as soon as [Removed:524] flashed {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} for top set.
