Haynes Doubles Again

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Victor Haynes doubles again
Victor Haynes doubles again

Jeff Gibralter opened to 195,000 on the button and Victor Haynes moved all in for 540,000. Gibralter called.

Gibralter: {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Haynes: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Haynes was ahead and flopped a pair when the dealer fanned {7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. He wasn't out of the water yet though, Gibralter could still knock him out with a king and when the {9-Hearts} turned he added four more outs to a straight. The {5-Clubs} on the river completed the hand and Haynes held, doubling to 1.23 million chips.

Gibralter slipped to 2.1 million.

Another Double for the Birthday Girl

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

It's Traci Brown's birthday today, and the poker gods have gifted her with yet another double-up.

Drazen Ilich started the action by opening to 190,000 from the cutoff and Traci Brown moved all in for 450,000 from the big blind. Ilich quickly called.

Ilich: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Brown: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop gave Ilich an open-ended straight draw to go along with his two overs, but the turn and river were both fives ({5-Clubs}, {5-Diamonds} respectively) and Brown doubled to 1.01 million chips.

Ilich slipped to 1.6 million.

Lynch Chips Up

Level 31 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Huy Nguyen opened to 205,000 and was called by Shallum Lynch. Both players checked the {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop and the {2-Diamonds} on the turn.

The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Nguyen led for 360,000. Lynch called.

Lynch rolled over {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens and was awarded the pot.

Hollaaaaaaaaaa

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Traci Brown has been floating with a short stack all day, and she just doubled again yet is still well below chip average.

Brown moved all in for 255,000 from under the gun and the action folded all the way to Huy Nguyen in the big blind who made the call.

Brown: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The board ran {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Brown doubled to 610,000 chips.

"Hollaaaaaaaaaa!" she called out while doing a little boogie. Brown tried to fist-bump the dealer as well, but he did not oblige because it's against the rules.

Nguyen took a small hit, but is still in the lead with 5.4 million chips.

Lynch With a Fadeaway

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Shallum Lynch doubles
Shallum Lynch doubles

Shallum Lynch opened to 160,000 from under the gun and Jeff Gibralter three-bet to 455,000 right behind him. Action folded back to Lynch who moved all in for 1.07 million more and Gibralter made the quick call.

Lynch: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Gibralter: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Lynch had a slight advantage heading into the flop and when the dealer fanned {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{q-Diamonds} he jumped even further ahead. The {j-Diamonds} on the turn kept Gibralter alive however, he gained eight outs to a flush (the {4-Diamonds} would be no good) and three additional outs to a straight.

The {2-Hearts} on the river was a blank however and Lynch doubled to 3.1 million chips. Gibralter is still healthy, he has 2.2 million.
