Ilich Doubles Through Bui

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Joe Bui completed from the small blind and WSOP-C Ring winner Drazen Ilich checked in the big. The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Bui led for 75,000. Ilich moved all in for 430,000 and Bui called.

Bui: {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Ilich: {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Ilich was ahead with a pair of nines, but Bui had an open-ended straight draw and could catch two pair. The {j-Diamonds} on the turn did not improve Bui's hand however and neither did the {9-Clubs} on the river, dropping his stack to 380,000 chips.

Ilich is now up to around a million.

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Lynch Takes a Hit

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Lynch checked and Haynes continued for 300,000. Lynch called.

Both players checked the {5-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river, Haynes rolled over {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens and Lynch mucked his hand.

Haynes' stack increased to 2.2 million chips, while Lynch's slipped to 1.9 million.

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
John Loza - 12th Place
John Loza - 12th Place

John Loza chopped a pot right after break, but in the second hand the Austin, Texas native was eliminated from the tournament.

Huy Nguyen opened to 125,000 from the hijack seat and Loza called all in for 75,000 from the cutoff. Bobby "Shooter" Hempkins called from the small blind and the flop fell {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}. Hempkins checked, Nguyen fired 225,000 and Hempkins folded. Loza and Nguyen opened their hands.

Nguyen: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Loza: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Loza was very much alive with two overs, a flush draw and a back-door straight draw, but the {7-Hearts} and the {6-Diamonds} were both bricks and he was eliminated in 12th place.

Nguyen is now over 4 million chips.

Loza: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Loza was dominated and did not find a queen on the flop ({5-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}), turn ({j-Diamonds}) or river ({7-Clubs}), crippling him to just 50,000 chips.

Neal Seiwert Eliminated in 13th Place ($14,369)

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Neal Seiwert - 13th Place
Neal Seiwert - 13th Place

Neal Seiwert went from chip leader to busto in under an hour here on Day 3 of the WSOP-C Choctaw Main Event. He lost two major flips including this one.

Seiwert opened to 95,000 from under the gun and Victor Haynes moved all in for effectively 860,000 from the big blind. Seiwert called.

Seiwert: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Haynes: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop was safe for Seiwert, but the {k-Hearts} spiked on the turn and gave Haynes a leading pair of kings. Seiwert needed one of the two queens to survive, but failed to receive one when the {4-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Seiwert, who hails from Wichita, Kansas, was eliminated in 13th place and will take home $14,369.
