Andrew Watson Eliminated in 8th Place ($27,680)

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Andrew Watson - 8th Place
Andrew Watson - 8th Place

Andrew Watson captained a massive stack throughout Day 2 of the WSOP-C Main Event here in Choctaw, but he just couldn't get it going on Day 3.

Drazen Ilich started the action by raising to 150,000 from the cutoff seat. Watson three-bet to 450,000 on the button and Huy Nguyen cold four-bet shoved from the big blind having both players covered. Ilich got out of the way and Watson made the call.

Watson: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Nguyen: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Watson was crushed and began to collect his things as the dealer flopped {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. He had his bag in has hand as the {8-Diamonds} turned and the second the {k-Spades} fell on the river he wished the table good luck then exited.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma native will receive $27,680 for his 8th place finish while Nguyen is now our massive chip leader with 6.2 million.

Robert Cheung Eliminated in 9th Place ($21,979)

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Robert Cheung - 9th Place
Robert Cheung - 9th Place

Robert Cheung opened to 170,000 from early position and the action folded to Huy Nguyen who called in the big blind. Both players checked the {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop and Nguyen checked again after the {8-Clubs} turned. Cheung bet 260,000, Nguyen check-raised all in for 1.2 million and Cheung snapped it off.

Nguyen: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Cheung: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Cheung ran into the nuts and needed the board to pair to make a full house. The {4-Spades} on the river did not improve his hand however, and the WSOP bracelet winner exited in 9th place.

Nguyen is now over 5 million chips.

Cheung Doubles Through Haynes

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

WSOP Bracelet winner Robert Cheung open-shoved for 630,000 from early position and the action folded to Victor Haynes who called from the hijack seat. Everyone else folded and the hands were turned face up.

Cheung: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Haynes: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Haynes closed his eyes as the flop fell {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and was not phased when he opened his eyes to see Cheung had stolen the lead. Cheung then turned around in his chair, and neither player was looking as the {10-Hearts} came on the turn giving Haynes eight more outs to a straight.

"Do it, do it, do it," Drazen Ilich chanted, rooting for the KO.

Again, neither player watched as the river brought the {8-Hearts}, but once a floorperson announced the card the two opened their eyes and Cheung was shipped the pot.

Haynes dropped to 1.45 million chips while Cheung is now at 1.38 million.

What Can Brown Do For You?

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Thumbs Up for Double Ups
Thumbs Up for Double Ups

Our last woman standing, Traci Brown, open-shoved her last 250,000 on the button. Shallum Lynch called out of the big blind and the hands were tabled.

Brown: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Lynch: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

"Come on Brian," Brown said to the dealer. "I'll take you out to dinner if I win."

"Lies," Andrew Watson interjected. "You already promised me dinner."

The flop fell {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Brown remained in the lead.

"Come on ace," she urged, even though she just needed to dodge a king or queen.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn was another baby card and Brown was one card away from a double.

"Ace!" she pleaded.

The river was the {2-Hearts} and Brown let out a celebrator yelp. She doubled to 570,000 chips while Lynch slipped to 1.1 million.

"Dinner's on me, Brian" she grinned while stacking her newfound chips.

Charles "Woody" Moore - Eliminated in 10th Place

Charles "Woody" Moore was so close to making his fourth final table of this year's World Series of Poker Circuit, but the Las Vegas, Nevada resident fell just short.

Moore moved all in for 195,000 from middle position and Bobby "Shooter" Hempkins re-shoved right behind him. The action behind all folded and the hands were opened.

Moore: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Hempkins: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Moore held live cards, but did not connect with the {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board, and the WSOP-C Ring winner will have to settle with 10th place for $17,662. This isn't the last you'll see from Moore however, he'll be at Ceasars Palace in late May for the WSOP-C National Championship.

Level 29 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Shallum Lynch raised to 125,000 from middle position and next to act in the hijack, Jeff Gibralter called.

The rest of the table folded and the flop came down {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Lynch fired 200,000, but couldn't shake Gibralter. The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and Lynch checked. After a few moments Gibralter bet 225,000, forcing a quick fold from Lynch.

Lynch: Down to about 1,400,000
Gibralter: Up to about 3,800,000
