Bradley Lipsey`s upward climb continued moments ago after a big hand with Ryan Ramos.
Ramos three-bet a Lipsey open, making it 58k total. Lipsey flatted and the two went heads-up to an flop. Both players checked, but when the turn fell and Lispey checked again, Ramos drop 60k across the line.
Lipsey flatted and after the river, he checked again. Ramos bet 120,000 and a frustrated looking Lipsey made the call.
Ramos claimed fours and Lipsey turned over an ace to drag the rather large pot, claiming there were two hands that beat his, or he would have made a raise.
With the end of Level 21 upon us, the players have gone off on a 10 minute break. They will return to play two more 60 minute levels and then call it a night.
We had a monster pot develop as the rest of the tables went on break. Teddy Gill, Derek Browning and Jack Miller all got their stacks in the middle preflop. Miller had the shortest stack and Browning had Gill outchipped. The hands were tabled and they were off to the races.
Browning:
Gill:
Miller:
The board ran and Miller's flopped full house gave him the main pot and earned him a triple up. Gill took the side pot and Browning was left wondering how the best hand preflop cost him a bunch of chips.
Details are a bit sketchy, since we really only caught the tail end of the hand, but it appears Justin Gardenhire doubled up with pocket kings to cripple an opponent and leap in to contention, now sitting on 800,000.
Teddy Gill opened for 25,000 and his short-stacked opponent fumbled putting all his chips in the middle. He didn't say anything and led a 20 stack of T1,000 chips. The dealer informed him that it was just a call because he didn't announce anything. The player face palmed and nodded.
The flop came out , Gill checked and the unknown player moved all in. Gill called and tabled for a flopped set and was going against . The board finished and Gill collected the pot.
