Up and Down

Bradley Lipsey has certainly had an adventure since the money bubble burst.

He was a short stack, got it in bad and doubled up before going on a nice little run. But it wasn`t long before he spazzed most of what was a decent stack away.

However, just seconds ago he was all in with jacks against ace-king and managed to win the flip to push back up to 350000.

The Million Chip Club

The million chip club is a party of one at the moment. Abraham Araya has been on a heater since returning from the dinner break. Araya has finally succumbed to our stares and has restacked his chips in stacks of 20. He had been using 25 and 30 chip stacks throughout the day.

All Hail Abraham

Texas resident Abraham Araya, winner of last year`s T.J. Cloutier Choctaw Poker Challenge right here in Durant, is the overwhelming chip leader heading into the serious stages of this event.

He just picked off yet another short stack who thought {k-}{q-} was a good hand to shove his last 140k in with, until Araya called with queens.

The queen's held and Araya is the first player over the 800k mark here at WSOPC Choctaw.

Huh?

Larry Wright is out and Oklahoma City's Randy Postlewait is up over 400k after a bizarre hand here in Durant.

Its all started with a middle position raise and Randy Postlewait pondering his next move in the nine seat. Suddenly the short stack in the one seat pushed all-in out of turn. The dealer asked everyone to hold up a minute, but Postlewait didn't wait and made a raise.

The floor was called over and since the action had changed in front of him, the one seat was allowed to pull his stack back. He folded, but Wright was right behind him in the big blind and he shoved all in.

The original raiser passed, but Postlewait called, tossing two aces on the felt. Wright had kings and after a board of blanks, he was sent packing.
