Welcome to PokerNews' coverage of the World Series of Poker Circuit. The seventh stop of the season brings us to Harrah's Resort Atlantic City.
Last year's Main Event drew a field of 618 entries and was taken down by Tuan Phan for $188,830. As is the case with the all of the circuit Main Event's, Day 1 will be broken down into two sessions, offering players the chance to re-enter in the evening if they fail to survive the first session.
Among those we expect to participate in today's affair include Amanda Musumeci, Josh Brikis, Kurt Jewell, Aaron Massey, Micah Raskin, and Drazen Ilich. A field similar to last year's 618 entries is expected.
Play is set to begin at 11:00am local time, about half an hour from now, so be sure to keep it here throughout the day as the first step is taken to find out who the next WSOP circuit Main Event champion will be.
