Harrah's New Orleans Champ Runs Into Aces

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Earlier this week Luke Graham topped a 762-player field to win the Harrah's New Orleans $1,675 Main Event for $228,600 and a seat into the National Championship. Graham was making the most of it with a deep run here today, but any hope he had of winning back-to-back title just came to an end courtesy of Max Steinberg.

In an all-in preflop situation Graham got his stack in holding the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} only to run into the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} of Max Steinberg. The board ran out a clean {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Graham's New Orleans fairytale came to an end in 24th place. Meanwhile, Steinberg, who won the 2012 WSOP Event #33 $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $440,238, is sitting pretty with 330,000.
