Lukas Benkovic Doubles Through Giovanni Di Donato

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Giovanni Di Donato raised to 1,500 under the gun. It folded to Lukas Benkovic on the button who three-bet to 4,100. Both blinds folded.

"May I see your chips," asked Di Donato, and Benkovic revealed around 20,000 in chips behind. Di Donato then moved all in. Benkovic called.

Benkovic: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Di Donato: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The flop wasn't a good one for Benkovic as it came {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}. However the {j-Clubs} on the turn meant that Di Donato was drawing dead, and the Italian flicked his cards towards Benkovic just in time to see the river {10-Spades} dealt.

Daniil Kiselev Loses Small With Aces

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Nurmohamed Franklin limped from early position, which seems to be his style today, and picked up two callers including Ondrej Milabersky before it got to Daniil Kiselev in the big blind who raised to 2,300.

Franklin called as did Milabersky while the last player folded.

The flop was {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} which saw Kiselev continue the aggression with a bet of 4,800. Milabersky was the only caller and they saw a turn card {q-Hearts} which both players checked.

The river was the {k-Spades} and neither player fancied having a stab at the pot so cards were on their backs.

Kiselev tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} but had been out flopped by the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} set of Milabersky.

Krijin Broskij Busts

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Daniil Kiselev opened from under the gun for 1,400 and Krijin Broskij next to him shoved the last of his 4,525 over the line. The rest of the table folded and Kiselev gave him a spin.

Broskij had {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} and was flipping against the {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} of Kiselev.

The dealer fanned {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Kiselev said, “That’s my flop.”

The turn card {q-Diamonds} didn’t do it but the {6-Hearts} on the river completed the flush with Kiselev giving him a consoling pat on the shoulder saying, “It was coming man.”

A jokingly stunned Broskij sat there for a while staring at the board muttering a hoarse, “Five high flush draw.”

Kuljinder Sidhu Already Chipping Up

Level 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Kuljinder Sidhu raised to under the gun and was three-bet by Stanislav Koleno. Sidhu called and the pair saw a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} along with his opponent.

Both players checked and the {3-Hearts} came on the turn. Sidhu checked to Koleno who bet 3,100. Sidhu then check-raised to 7,900 and Koleno called.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Sidhu jammed for his remaining 15,000, covering his opponent. Koleno thought for a while. He recently finished third in the PokerStars Festival Main Event here in Rozvadov. He called and Sidhu showed {3-Spades}{6-Spades} for two pair. Koleno showed {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and headed to the exit.

Action Flop Sees Leonardo Armino Eliminated

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

The flop of {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} had already seen three players committing chips to the pot before Leonardo Armino moved all in.

Jan Bednar had them both covered and called the shove,

Tarek Bouchama looked plaintively at his hand for a while before folding his {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} face up and leaving them to it.

Armino had flopped a flush with {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Bednar was drawing to the nut flush with two cards to come.

The turn card {9-Hearts} sealed it and Armino rose from is seat as the river card {2-Clubs} completed the board,

“Five High” Gets There

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Krijin Broskij was tangling with Michal Mrakes over a flop of {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Broskij check-called a bet of 3,100 from Mrakes and they then saw the {9-Clubs} hit the turn.

A check from Broskij saw big stack Mrakes move all in. Broskij looked deflated at the turn of events but called it off.

Broskij had a draw with {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} while Mrakes was currently good with {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} ace high.

The river was the {7-Hearts} giving Broskij his straight to survive.

Sam Grafton at table opined that the two had, “Too much money. Five high and ace high?” He queried with a raised eyebrow or two.

Former EPT Barcelona champion Sebastian Malec was just eliminated in a hand against Lambros Vrakes.

A player opened to 1,000 from early position with the blinds 250 and 500. Vrakes then three-bet to 2,600 and Malec called in position.

The flop came {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The initial raiser checked and Vrakes bet 5,250. Malec called and the third player folded.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Vrakes bet 11,500. Malec counted out the chips to make the call before checking how much he had in the rest of his stack. He then announced all in and Vrakes quickly called.

Malec showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a set of tens, but Vrakes had turned a set of queens with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The river was the {j-Clubs} and Malec was eliminated.
