Wazwaz Raises Esquivel

Level 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Steve Wazwaz raised to 5,000 from the cutoff, and Michael Esquivel called in the big blind.

Both players checked the {j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, and Esquivel bet 6,000 on the {j-Hearts} turn. Wazwaz called.

The {a-Diamonds} hit the river, and Esquivel bet 20,500. Wazwaz tanked for a minute before raising to 45,000, a little more than half of his remaining stack. Esquivel gave it some thought, then folded.

"Buzzsaw!" Wiora said, looking at Bryant's mound of chips.

Ben Wiora: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Jill Bryant: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Wiora found a set on the {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, and was able to double his stack up after the {q-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river.

"Farmboy" Doubles Through Sepiol

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Aaron Johnson raised to 4,500 from the cutoff, and Daniel Sepiol three-bet to 11,000 on the button. John "Farmboy" Kurfman four-bet jammed for 34,500, and after Johnson folded, Sepiol confirmed the amount, then called.

John Kurfman: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel Sepiol: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Sepiol bricked the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop, but nodded when the {10-Clubs} turn brought him a gutshot to add to his outs. The {10-Hearts} river bricked off, and Kurfman doubled up.

Rogowski, Herstein Out

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Andy Rogowski
Andy Rogowski

Andy Rogowski put his last 2,500 in from under the gun, and both Nicola Ditrapani in the cutoff and Alan Cutler in big blind called.

"Thank you, dealer!" Rogowski said before the {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop could fall. Ditrapani bet 4,000, and Cutler folded.

"I'm going to need perfect-perfect," Rogowski told Ditrapani once the cards were tabled.

Andy Rogowski: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Nicola Ditrapani: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Rogowski was left dead on the {a-Diamonds} turn, and Rogowski was out of his chair before the {9-Diamonds} river could fall.

"You too?" Rogowski asked Gary Herstein, who was also out of his seat.

"Ace-king," Herstein said with a nod, and the duo headed to the rail.
