There was around 100,000 in the pot on the turn with a board reading and Soumitra Nagar bet 50,000 from the big blind. Kelsey Hendricks was on the button and called.
The river came and Nagar bet another 75,000. Hendricks thought for a bit and settled on a call.
Nagar tabled for a pair of queens and Hendricks mucked his cards, cutting out his chips afterward to count his newfound stack as Soumatra raked in the pot.
Meanwhile, Alfie Poetra was eliminated on an adjacent table after shoving his last 190,000 in from under the gun. According to a player at the table, he ran his ace-queen into Roman Shainiuk's ace-king. Shainiuk held and scored the knockout, vaulting him over 2.5 million in the process.
Billy Le raised to 35,000 out of the hijack and action folded around to Roman Shainiuk, who defended his big blind. The flop came and Shaniuk led out for 75,000. Le called.
The turn fell and Shainiuk led again, firing 175,000. Le asked how much the bet was and the dealer confirmed the number. A few seconds later, he folded, looking confused as he let his hand go.
Meanwhile, Shainiuk has further extended his chip lead, having now surpassed the two million-chip mark along the way.
Paul Chai opened the action with a raise to 38,000 and received a call from Travis Fujisaka, who was in the small blind. Billy Le was in the big blind and squeezed, putting in a three-bet to 150,000. Chai took a few seconds and put out chips to call. Fujisaka then went into the tank, ultimately finding a fold.
The flop came and Le asked Chai how much he had to start the hand.
"Six hundred-something," Chai replied. Le put out a continuation-bet of 150,000. Chai then found action upon himself. After a few seconds, he took a chip and stood it up on its sides, putting it between his two thumbs and spinning it before it toppled over as if it were a coin.
"All in," he responded as it hit the felt. Le thought for about 20 seconds and sent his cards to the muck.
With the board showing , Soumitra Nagar bet 325,000 from the cutoff, enough to put Nini Klebek all in if Klebek made the call.
Playing from the big blind, Klebek went into the take for a few minutes before finally making the call, but saw that his was no good against Nagar's . Klebek goes out just before the dinner break in 22nd place.
