Chip Counts Table 16

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Robertson Bubbles IP Biloxi Main Event

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After an extended period of hand-for-hand play the bubble finally burst.

Raphael Robertson was all in preflop for his remaining 125,000. He was in big trouble as his {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was crushed by the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} of Rami Owera.

The board provided nothing out of the ordinary as it ran out {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Robertson was gone, giving the rest of the field a guaranteed payday.

Myers Bombs River

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop read {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} with four players contesting the hand. Bradley Myers bet 10,000, David Walters called, and two players folded.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}. Myers bet 30,000 and was called by Walters. The river came the {q-Spades} and Myers loaded up again before firing 85,000. Walters thought for about 15 seconds and laid it down

"The river saved you," said Walters as he folded and indeed Myers showed the {j-}{10-} to indicate that it had.

Brady Survives on Bubble

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Charles Brady was all in with the {a-}{k-} against the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} of Trace Henderson.

The flop was bad news for Brady as it came {6-}{j-}{j-} to make him stand up. However, the turn was the {k-Spades} to swing it back in his favor and the {8-} confirmed his survival and double. Hand-for-hand play continues.

Domangue Out Flips Hudson

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The cards and chips were splayed out on the table as it appeared as though CJ Domangue won an all-in flip against Christopher Hudson when his {a-}{k-} overcame the {j-}{j-} as the board ran out [2xqhahaohax]. That elimination brings the field just one away from the money.

Henderson's Set Sinks Ham

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Trace Henderson (from Day 1b)
Trace Henderson (from Day 1b)

Action was on the flop that read {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Mack Ham bet 15,000 and was called by Trace Henderson.

The turn was the {8-Spades}. Ham fired again, this time for 20,000, and Henderson raised all in which put Ham's feet to the fire.

Ham thought long and hard with his tournament life on the line close to the bubble. After a minute he called.

Henderson showed the {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the set which was ahead of the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} two-pair of Ham.

The river was the {j-Hearts} and Ham's tournament was over just like that as Henderson took in the nice pot.

Carlos Guerrero shoved from the button and Irene Carey called from the big blind to put her short stack at risk with the {a-Spades}{9-Spades} against the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of Guerrero.

The flop came all hearts {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to cause a sweat. The turn was the {7-Spades} and the river finished off Carey as it came the {5-Hearts} to complete the flush for Guerrero.

Robertson Gets Call From Carey

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn on a board that read {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. From the small blind, Raphael Robertson led out with a bet of 30,000 which was called by Irene Carey.

The river came the {8-Clubs}. Robertson quickly moved all in for his remaining amount of 54,000.

Carey went into the tank and thought it out for over a minute before calling. Robertson turned over the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for an overpair. Carey checked her cards and flashed the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} in frustration as her chips went over to Robertson.
