Cieslik Eliminated With Premium Pair

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Roman Cieslik
Roman Cieslik

Around 28,000 were in the middle to the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} turn and Roman Cieslik checked out of the small blind. Symeon Alexandridis pushed in the hijack with the slightly superior stack and that sent Cieslik into the tank. He opted to call it off and once Alexandridis rolled over the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for trips tens, Cieslik sighed "every single fuckin time" before exposing his {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

No miracle happened on the {8-Hearts} river and both stacks were counted. Alexandridis had 44,900 at his disposal and that covered the 41,000 of Cieslik.

Nagygyorgy Busts Melchers With a "Nice Call"

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Tibor Nagygyörgy
Tibor Nagygyörgy

Just before the blinds went up, a larger pot developed between Dorian Melchers on the button and Tibor Nagygyörgy in the cutoff. The board showed {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Nagygyörgy bet 15,000 for his table neighbour to shove for 67,800 in total.

Nagygyörgy was sent into the tank and the clock was called on him. With five seconds remaining, the Hungarian called and Melchers rolled over the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens only. Nagygyörgy had that beat with the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and won the big pot, which Silviu Baltateanu acknowledged with a "nice call".

Mrakes Sends Ulrich to the Rail

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Table short stack Sebastian Ulrich got the last few chips in after the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Spades} turn and was shown the bad news. While his {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for trips aces were a decent hand, he needed a ten to chop as Michal Mrakes already had the full house with the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The {9-Spades} on the river only provided an inferior full house to Ulrich and he headed out of the tournament area.

Tabacaru Frustrated By Verenko's Bluff

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Ion Tabacaru was deep into the tank after Roman Verenko made a pot-size bet of 50,000 on the turn. With a board showing {5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} Tabacaru eventually relinquished his hand {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} face-up. Verenko rolled over {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the semi-bluff causing Tabacaru clapping his hands in frustration.

Saleh Knocks Out Cama

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The pot until then was rather small as Salvatore Cama had limp-called a raise by Elias Abou Saleh and then proceeded to check-call two streets on the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board. Ultimately, Cama around 20,000 behind and check-called all-in to get shown the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} by Saleh.

That proved to be the winning hand as Cama's {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} were tabled for a mere second before they hit the muck.

Vlaic Doubles Through D'Angelo

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Daniele D'Angelo was in the tank on the {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} turn with a pot of around 16,000 by then. Iuliu Vlaic had moved all-in from two seats over in the hijack and D'Angelo gave it some thought before he called with the slightly superior stack.

Iuliu Vlaic: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Daniele D'Angelo: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds} river completed the board and Vlaic doubled for 26,600 to leave his opponent short.
