Altinok Doubles Through Bystrovzorov

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The cards of Dmytro Bystrovzorov were already in the muck and he had to fork over a decent portion of his stack. Mark Ruvinov said in table chat "even pocket deuces is better than ace king" which may be an indication what Bystrovzorov held in the previous showdown that had just unfolded.

Regardless of that, Mehmet Altinok was awarded a full double for more than 47,000 when his {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} were the best hand on the {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board as Bystrovzorov was sent back to just above the starting stack.

Han Kuo four-bet to 19,000 into three players from the small blind. Zhong Chen on the button was the only customer to a flop of {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}. Action checked around to Kuo who continued for 6,000 with a quick call from Chen.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} to complete the flush draw. Chen checked, Kuo continued for 11,000 which was promptly followed by an all-in from Chen for approximately 54,000. After a minute of deliberation Kuo threw his cards into the muck.

Iftimia Knocks Out Ghashayar To Take the Lead

Level 4 : 200/500, 500 ante

Joining the action on the heads-up turn of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Spades}, Marius Iftimia bet 5,500 out of the big blind. Iman Ghashayar then raised to 13,500 for Iftimia to call. The {a-Clubs} fell on the river and Iftimia checked this time. Ghashayar bet 18,000 with 15,100 behind only for Iftimia to check-raise, making it 60,000 to go with the far superior stack.

Ghashayar sigh-called all-in and Iftimia rolled over the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a full house as his opponent mucked, grabbed his cards to expose the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the broadway straight and headed to the registration desk in order to re-enter.

Bystrovzorov CHips Up Without Showdown

Level 4 : 200/500, 500 ante

Dmytro Bystrovzorov raised to 1,200 from under the gun and received no fewer than four callers, which led to the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop. No betting action took place and they also checked the {4-Clubs} turn to Bystrovzorov, who bet 4,500 and was called only by Pierre Neuville.
