In the meanwhile, Sergiu Covrig and Birger Ohl were eliminated for the second time and can only fire one more entry on Day 1a.

flop, a raising war broke out between Michal Mrakes and Eugen Rolif. The latter eventually squeezed to 41,000 only for Mrakes to then move all-in for around 81,500 in total. Rolif tanked for two minutes and sent the cards into the muck as Mrakes claimed nearly one full starting stack in the process without the need to show.
The cards were already on their backs when Pierre Neuville was all-in for 14,100 on the ![]()

flop. He was looked up by the table big stack Aguinaldo Parmisciano in the small blind, who had more than tripled up his stack already.

river avoided the second bustout of Neuville but he remained below the starting stack.
The pace of eliminations has picked up in the third level of the day. Among the recent casualties was PLO specialist Ermanno Di Nicola and he was joined on the rail by Andrei Makavets, Narcis Nedelcu and Ali Sameeian. The latter had mentioned not long ago that he lost most of his stack with kings versus aces to then depart a few minutes later.
Out of a field of 184 entries, only 155 players remain in the third level of the day.
