Madani Re-Enters Once More

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Said Madani was eliminated on his previous table and then re-entered. He was spotted betting the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts} river for 11,000 with around 30,000 behind and Mario Colavita then pushed all-in. Madani sigh-called and Colavita was the one to sigh, as he flipped over all but {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. However, Madani was about to muck his cards and the dealer exposed the {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} as per all-in showdown rule.

Madani fired the second and final re-entry shortly after.

Nedelcu and Bokowski Bust Rusys

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Narcis Nedelcu
Narcis Nedelcu

With already 85,000 in the middle in three-way action to the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop, Narcis Nedelcu bet 38,000 out of the blinds. Kestutis Rusys jammed for around 55,000 and Nicolas Bokowski moved all-in over the top for 112,300. Nedelcu asked for a count and called that, too.

Kestutis Rusys: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Nicolas Bokowski: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Narcis Nedelcu: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {q-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river ended the run for Rusys on Day 1a for now.

Triple Up for Madani

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Said Madani jammed for the last 32,500 and was called by Oliver Huber. Giovanni Salvatore then went all-in over the top and Huber sent his cards into the muck.

Said Madani: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Giovanni Salvatore: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

After the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, things appeared to be rather dire for Madani. He picked up some additional outs on the {10-Diamonds} turn and indeed got there with the {8-Clubs} river for the triple up.

Rachid El Yaacoubi opened and then four-bet jammed when facing a three-bet by a short-stacked Michal Mrakes. The instant all by his table neighbour followed and the cards were flipped over.

Michal Mrakes: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Rachid El Yaacoubi: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

On a board of {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}, the kicker played for Mrakes to double.

Sirbu Doubles Through Hammer

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a battle button versus big blind, Nicu Sirbu got his stack in after the {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and was in prime shape for a double against Manfred Hammer.

Nicu Sirbu: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Manfred Hammer: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts} turn took away some outs for Hammer and he found no miracle upset on the {3-Diamonds} river.
