Next Batch of Casualties

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Roettelbach Doubles Through Boesiger

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With around 30,000 in the middle to the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} river, Silvan Boesiger checked his option. Richard Roettelbach then bet 16,800 on the button only for Boesiger to check-raise big to 130,000. Roettelbach was covered by that and started some table chat in which he admitted to have the queen.

Ultimately, Roettelbach called it off and Boesiger tapped the table without showing his cards. Roettelbach tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and as per all-in showdown rule, the {7-Spades}{6-Spades} of Boesiger were exposed as well. The double for Roettelbach was for 69,400 total.

Talah Eliminated by Savinelli

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Down to the last 15,400, Nasredine Talah moved all-in from the cutoff and Carlo Savinelli was the only one to call on the button.

Nasredine Talah: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Carlo Savinelli: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Savinelli immediately improved on the {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, then dodged the {5-Clubs} turn and {4-Spades} river runout.

Blasko Thrives Against Achegsei

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The completed board of {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} brought a bet worth 22,000 by Marek Blasko in middle position. Ahmad Achegsei was the only opponent left on the button and opted to call. Blasko then revealed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for jacks up and that won the pot.

Big Stack Donnini Vanishes

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Tomas Chmela scored a triple up with the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} while former big stack Danilo Donnini hit the rail with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Pretty much all his chips must have gone to Abd El Ghanim, who dealt the final blow with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} as the board was already scooped up by the dealer.

Lemmens Gets a Jam Through, Chaitas Chips Up

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jorden Verbraeken had three-bet to 5,300 and then faced the shove by Ronnie Lemmens for just 21,000 total out of the big blind. With the initial raiser gone, Verbraeken was the only one to act and tank-folded. Lemmens flashed the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Shortly after on the same table, Ioannis Chaitas rivered broadway to knock out Symeon Alexandridis and become one of the big stacks.

Artusa Felted by Kokoska

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Robert Kokoska
Robert Kokoska

Six ways to the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop the action checked around and the {2-Clubs} followed on the turn. Antonio Artusa moved all-in or 20,500 and Robert Kokoska called. As the last player to act behind, Sharon Ben David folded and exposed the {k-Hearts}.

Antonio Artusa: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Robert Kokoska: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Artusa was drawing dead already and that made the {8-Clubs} river a formality.
