Three players were in a hand on the turn with it reading 10♥10♠A♠5♥. Kevin MacDonald bet 7,000 from the hijack. Hrair Yapudjian called in middle position while John Araujo also called from the big blind.
The river came the A♣ to double pair the board. Yapoudjian bet 5,000, Araujo folded and MacDonald called.
Yapoudjian tabled the A♥J♦ for the boat to take the pot as MacDonald shook his head,
"First time ace-jack holds up at this table" said Yapoudjian as he gathered the chips.
Alexandre Bolduc raised to 4,500 preflop from middle position. Haroun Ben Ounis three-bet it to 10,000 from the cutoff and Bolduc called.
The flop came 9♣Q♦3♦. Ben Ounis continued for 7,500. Bolduc raisd to 25,000 and Ben Ounis called.
The turn was the 8♠. Bolduc moved all in for 78,500. Ben Ounis went into the tank as he contemplated the fairly large shove. After calling the clock on himself he eventually folded and flashed a Qx to show what he was folding.
The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise schedule is out, and it includes 15 gold bracelet events highlighted by the largest guaranteed poker tournament prize pool ever.
All the action takes place at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas from Dec. 3-13. The series includes a record $25,000 buy-in Super Main Event starting Dec. 9, featuring a $50 million guaranteed prize pool. That is the highlight event of the series, but it is far from the only big one. Take, for example, the $500,000 buy-in Triton Million on Dec. 7, an invitational event through Triton Poker.
The warm weather poker festival begins Dec. 6 with the $2,500 WSOP Mini Main Event, a $5 million guaranteed tournament. It concludes Dec. 18 with the $5,000 The Closer - NLH Bounty Turbo. There is one other tournament scheduled for the last day of the bracelet series — Super Saver 1M Invitational ($1 million guaranteed), open to bracelet holders who enter the Super Main Event.
There was four-way action brewing on a flop of 10♦8♠7♦. From the small blind, Weijie Zhang led out for 20,000. Danny Overbaugh took his time in early position to think about the bet and the two players left to act behind him before he folded.
The cutoff folded quickly and Johan Levyssohn moved all in from the button which Zhang snap-called.
Johan Levyssohn: 7♠7♣
Weijie Zhang: 8♥8♦
It was a set over set cooler while Overbaugh said he folded an overpair. The turn was the J♦ "and there it is" said Overbaugh, indicated that he had folded pocket jacks.
The river was another J♠ as Overbaugh reacted to what would have been quads and Levyssohn was sent away while Zhang gathered the big pot.
