All-in and a call was a shout and we saw Jonathan Khalifa, who has been pretty active today, with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} against Karim Souaid's {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Khalifa outflopped his opponent with {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, eliminating Souaid in 13th place

Sonny Franco

We said earlier that Mathieu Selides was running away with this tournament, and he is now. He was all-in but behind with {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} against Day 2 chip leader Sonny Franco's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

The board looked safe with [6c4dT7h] being dealt, but the {A-Spades} on the river eliminated Franco and further extended Selides's chip lead

Joao Pinto Correia

Chips were flying everywhere shortly after the break. Erwann Pecheux opened, was three-bet by Joao Pinto Correia who in turn was then four-bet by Carlos Olmos Pardos. Correia thought before moving all-in for 630,000 and was called by Pardos.

Correia: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Pardos: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board was {8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs} giving Correia a big boost and crippling Pardos

The remaining 14 players are going on a 15 minute break, so here are the updated chip counts. Players will return to 12,000/24,000/4,000 when they return, with the average stack 951,428

Samir Beldjoudi opened to 45,000 and Mustapha Bouzid shoved for 200,000 from the big blind. Beldjoudi made the call.

Beldjoudi: {A-}{Q-}
Bouzid: {10-}{10-}

Bouzid was ahead, but not for long as the board compelted {A-}{2-}{5-}{7-}{A-} to eliminate him in 15th place

Soufiane Abbouti Eliminated in 16th Place (€5,961)

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Soufiane Abbouti
Soufiane Abbouti

In a massive pot Soufiane Abbouti check-raised Mathieu Selides' bet of 129,000 to 300,000 on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Selides called and snap-called Abbouti's shove on the {2-Hearts} turn.

Selides: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Abbouti: {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Abbouti needed help with a pair and a flush draw, and even then only a club would save him. But the river came the {10-Hearts} and Selides is now up to nearly 3,000,000 chips at 10,000/20,000/3,000
