There was a big French yelp of delight from Dominique Terzian as the river was dealt. He held {K-}{K-} on a board of {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and faded the ace of Kamal Sefrioui's {A-}{K-} to bust the Moroccan in 17th place.

There will now be a redraw to seat the remaining 16 players around two tables

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

You know it's bad when you hear someone smack their chips against the table. After Loic Blarez rivered a flush against Karim Lahlou he was left with just four big blinds. Which were picked up by Mathieu Selides who is now honing in on the 2,000,000 chip mark

Achille Voltolina

One of the most colourful characters from the tournament Achille Voltolina has been eliminated in spectacular fashion. After raising preflop to 35,000 he saw a flop with Pedro Oliveira of {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

On the flop Oliveira check-raised Voltolina's bet of 35,000 to 90,000 and Voltolina shoved. Oliveria quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Oliveira: {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Voltolina: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Voltolina had flopped bottom set but Oliveira had flopped a straight! The turn card was the {7-Clubs} giving chop opportunities, but the river bricked {4-Diamonds} to eliminate Voltolina in 21st place
