Due to receiving less than 20 big blinds to start the day, many of the players that bought into the Main Event right before the first cards were dealt of Day 2 are either quickly doubling their stacks or exiting the tournament. Romania's Nandor Solyom is one of those players to double his stack after losing some chips early.

Solyom was all in with top pair on a board holding , and doubled up to 47,000 chips after Norman Thalwitzer turned over for top-pair with a lower kicker.

Thomas Urban had won some chips off Zwad and got into a raising war with Zwad, calling a four-bet to 22,500.
