Seif Flush with Chips, and Protecting His Prop Bets

In a hand very similar to the one we reported earlier, Mark Seif has busted another player. This time, the victim was JC Tran. On a flop of {4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} Seif checked, JC Tran bet 1,500, and Seif bet enough to put JC all in. JC called, and showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Seif was again on a flush draw, with the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The turn was the {2-Clubs}, but the river was the {K-Hearts} and JC was gone.

After the hand, Seif noted that "If that guy [Tran] wins a bracelet this year, I lose a lot of money. I gotta do everything I can."

Hellmuth Shows Up, and Shows Off

Phil Hellmuth showed up to his table assignment and did his new thing of walking around the table, and shaking everyone at the table's hand to wish them luck. Phil was showing off his 11th bracelet, which he won the other night.

From the next table, Greg Mueller leans over and says "Hey Phil, do you like that one?" Phil quickly replies "I like 'em all!"

Allen Cunningham Takes Pot from Freddy Deeb

Allen Cunningham bet 300 from the button, the small blind called and Freddy Deeb called from the big blind. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}. It was checked to Cunningham and he bet 400. The small blind folded and Deeb called. The turn came {3-Clubs} and both players checked. The river came {K-Spades}, Deeb checked, Cunningham bet 1,000 and Deeb called. Deeb showed top pair with the {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, but Cunningham turned over the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a set and took the pot. After the hand, Cunningham had 6,500.
