Cooler Tent

The temperature inside the outdoor tent is much more bearable now than it was at the start of play today. WIth the A/C blasting it's down to about 80 or so degrees in there as opposed to a sweltering 95+.

Boyd's Kings Cracked

Dutch Boyd raised to 300 pre-flop, a middle-position player called, and a late-position player re-raised to 1100. Boyd moved all-in for his remaining 1800, the middle-position player folded and the late-position player called.

Boyd showed K-K while his opponent showed... Q-7 offsuit. The flop was a mind-bending Q-7-3 and the turn and river were of no help to Boyd. He was down to 1800 in chips after the hand.

David Benyamine Eliminated

With only 700 left David Benyamine moved all-in after a 600 raise and was naturally called. Benyamine's A-K dominated his opponent's A-J, but after a Queen and a Ten on the flop the other player caught his King on the turn for Broadway and knocked Benyamine out.

Phil Ivey Loses A Big Pot

After seeing a flop of {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} {5-Hearts} Phil Ivey called an all-in bet for a pot worth around 6,000. Ivey showed {J-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} and his opponent had overcards and a flush draw with {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}. The {7-Hearts} on the turn gave his opponent an unbeatable hand and reduced Ivey's stack to 1,300.
