Greenstein Doubles Up

Barry Greenstein made it 3,500 to go, preflop, when the big blind player raised for another 12,000 more. Greenstein pushed all in for 25,500 total and the big blind called. The big blind showed pocket tens and Greenstein showed pocket jacks. Although both players made a full house on the turn, Greenstein's pocket hooks held up, leaving him with 53,000 in chips.

Seidel Wastes No Time

Shortly after being moved to table 11, Erik Seidel managed to double through Dan Shak. Here's how it went down:

On a board showing {Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Shak moved all in and had Seidel covered. Seidel made the call for his last 20,000 chips and turned over {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for top pair, top kicker. Shak tabled {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for both flush and inside straight draws.

The turn and river brought no help to either player and Seidel's queens held up, bringing his chip count to 48,000. Shak dropped to 4,500 on the hand.

Table 11 Toughens Up

With the addition of Erik Seidel to table 11, one of the toughest tables in the field just got tougher.

Here's the lineup:

Seat 1: J.C. Alvarado
Seat 2: Dan Shak
Seat 3: Unknown
Seat 4: Terrence Chan
Seat 5: Joe Tehan
Seat 6: Erik Seidel

As Seidel took his seat, he said, "This looks like the action table...I like this."

We'll keep you posted.
