Holding , Mike Matusow bet the rest of his chips after he and Markus Golser saw a flop of . Matusow's set trailed Golser's flopped flush, and when the fell on the turn Matusow was in danger of being crippled. But the on the river paired the board and gave "The Mouth" the full house and a pot that pushed his stack up to 90,000.
Twice Eric Dalby was able to crack Todd Brunson's big pocket pairs. On the first Dalby flopped a wrap draw against Brunson set of Jacks, and Dalby made his straight on the turn. On the next hand he flopped a flush that cracked Brunson's Aces. Dalby now sits with 120,000 while Brunson has fallen to 75,000.
Nearly down to the felt Randy Jensen moved in the last of his chips holding and got four callers. The flop gave him two pair, the on the turn gave him a full house, and the gave him a big pot that boosted his stack all the way up to 92,000.
Steve Ladowsky was forced to commit the last of his chips before the flop and eventually lost to John "Sir Scoopalot" Guth, who went runner-runner to make the nut flush and eliminate Ladowsky.
In a pot with Patrick Bueno, David Flores made the 2nd nut low on the flop and then made a runner-runner full house when the fell on the turn and river. Bueno called all the way down and that pot drove Flores' stack up to 260,000.
