With the board showing 5-10-7-5-K, Annie Duke called John Grove down to the river but couldn't beat his 2 pair. Losing that hand left Duke with just 30,000.
Mike Matusow said, "It's time to triple-up or giddy-up!", and unfortunately for "The Mouth" it was the latter. He moved in the last of his chips after a flop and was called by Mike Henrich and John Guth. Matusow's trailed Henrich's , and when the board ran out , Guth took the low, Henrich the high, and Matusow was done for the night.
As were Phil Hellmuth's hopes to collect a $500,000 bet from Phil Ivey if Matusow won the bracelet. When Mike was eliminated, Phil stopped the 2-hour massage he'd been having and the two quietly left the tournament area together.
The Prince moved in the last of his chips before the flop and Robert Stevanoski called. Stevanoski flopped the nut flush draw and hit the on the river to make his flush and end the reign of the Prince of Docness.
After seeing a flop, Anthony Reategui bet the last of his chips and Randy Jensen raised to chase out Mike Matusow. Jensen flopped a flush and ended up taking the low as well to eliminate Reategui and boost his stack up to 178,000.
David Eller moved in the last of his chips before the flop and Markus Golser flopped trip Queens. Eller wasn't able to catch up and his night was brought to an end.
After Anthony Reategui lost a few pots in a row to see his stack reduced to 90,000, he and Allen Kessler played a big pot that saw Reategui go runner-runner to make a wheel that scooped the pot and eliminated Kessler.
Before the flop David Flores raised and Annie Duke 3-bet it, and they saw a flop of . Flores bet, Duke called, and that's also how the action went after the turned and the on the river.
