Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri Eliminated

Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri, who always seems to find himself at some of the toughest tables in every tournament he plays (today with "Miami" John Cernuto and Jeffrey Lisandro), has been eliminated from the tournament.

Al typically holds his own against the game's top pros, but today simply wasn't his day.

Relocating

A majority of the players have returned from break and found their new seating assignments in the Amazon Room. The scene is pretty hectic inside, as players try to find their new tables.

Meanwhile, just a few feet away from our new tournament area, railbirds are packed in three and four deep to catch a glimpse of the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. tournament, which is currently down to 136 players.

Cards should be in the air shortly.

Dinner Break

Players are now on dinner break until 10:30 p.m. PDT, at which time all tournament tables will be moved inside, into the Amazon Room.

Froehlich Flops the Nuts

Holding {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, Eric Froehlich couldn't have been happier to see the flop come {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Froehlich managed to extract a ton of chips on the hand, as the river action was capped; unfortunately, we were unable to see what Eric's opponent had, because he tossed his cards into the muck at showdown.

E-Fro now has 16,000 chips.
