Before the flop Alexander Kostritsyn raised to 22,000 and Eli Elezra called in the small blind. The players checked the flop and when the hit on the turn Elezra bet 26,000 and Kostritsyn called. The fell on the river and Elezra bet out 35,000. Kostritsyn raised to 105,000 and Elezra made the call, to learn that his bettered Kostritsyn's pocket threes. That pot just before the break lifted Elezra above the 700,000 mark while Kostritsyn fell to 290,000.
Andy Bloch raised on the button and David Stroj moved all in for his last 75,000. Bloch called and found that his dominated Stroj's . The brought David no help and when Bloch paired his ace on the turn, that was the end of Stroj's night.
Mike Sowers raised to 21,000 and Andy Bloch called. The flop came and the MIT whiz checked to Sowers, who bet 36,000. Bloch called.
The turn was the and Bloch checked again. This time Sowers bet 100,000 and Bloch called. The river was the and Bloch checked one more time. Sowers again bet 100,000 and Bloch instantly made the call.
Sowers quickly mucked his hand as Bloch turned over for a straight.
On a board of , Justin Newton made a bet of 21,000 into Nenad Medic. Medic thought for two minutes before he made a raise to 56,000. Newton tanked and then called.
After Medic turned over the winning hand with the , for two pair, Mike Sexton chimed in: "How about that value bet?"
Andreas Krause responded, "He learned that one on the internet." Medic smiled and raked in his chips.
Ryan Young limped in from early position. Tony Licastro raised to 36,000 and then Mike Sowers reraised to 128,000. Vivek Rajkumar decided it was his time and called all in for 110,000 total. Both Young and Licastro folded.
Sowers showed a dominating K-K to Vivek's Q-Q. The board ran out 10-2-2-7-2 and Vivek couldn't improve. He has been eliminated in 24th place and received $26,470.
Mike Sowers raised to 25,000 from the button after Tony Licastro had limped in from late position. Chris Bell called from the blind, as did Licastro.

Bell checked and Licastro bet 50,000. Sowers put out 29 orange chips for a raise to 145,000. Action got back to Bell and he moved all in for a total of 377,000. Licastro folded and Sowers went into the tank.
After a few minutes of thought, Sowers folded and was knocked down to 350,000. Chris Bell is over 630,000 and making a push for the chip lead.
The short-stacked Ted Lawson and Eli Elezra got all the chips in the middle preflop, with Lawson's leading Elezra's . The flop gave Ted top pair and Eli a gutshot straight draw, one that came in when the hit on the turn. That left Lawson drawing dead and he's out in 25th place.
