Khan Job

A player in the cutoff seat raised to 1,100, and Hevad "Rain" Khan reraised all in for 9,100 total. The cutoff called, showing {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Khan turned over {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Khan needed some help.

And so it came. The flop came {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}, giving Khan a pair. A trey on the turn and a deuce on the river, and Khan is now up to 19,000.

Big Pot for Ng

Evelyn Ng
Evelyn Ng
A player on the button raised to 1,500, and Evelyn Ng called from the small blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}, and Ng led out for 1,700. The button reraised to 5,000, and Ng called.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and this time Ng bet 10,000. The button called.

The river came the {K-Diamonds} and both players checked. Ng showed K-9 for a full house, and the button showed A-A. Ng is currently leading her table, which is down to three players.

Unreal Genius

Chris "Genius28" Lee raised to 2,000 in the small blind and the big blind reraised all in for 8,675. Lee called with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and the opponent had {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The board came {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Lee was down to 1,900.

On the next hand, the under-the-gun player limped in and Lee went all in for 1,875 on the button. The small blind called and the big blind folded. Under-the-gun folded. Lee had {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} to {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} from the SB. The door card was the {J-Diamonds} on a {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} board, and Lee was sent packing.

Hellmuth Takes One

Chris Vaughn raised from middle position, Phil Hellmuth called from the button, and both blinds called as well. The flop came {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and all four checked. The turn was the {J-Clubs}, and all checked to Hellmuth, who bet 2,200. The small blind called and the other two folded. The river brought the {5-Diamonds} and both checked.

Hellmuth showed {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for top pair, top kicker. His opponent showed {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and Hellmuth took the pot. He's up to around 18,700 at the moment.

Laak Chips

An under-the-gun player raised to 1,000 preflop and Phil Laak in late position called. The flop was {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts} and the UTG bet 2,500. Laak reraised all in and the UTG called with K-K. Laak had J-J. The turn and river were {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Laak was down to the starting stack of 10,000.

Edler Eliminated

Thought for a moment we were going to see another Bill Edler "chip and a chair" comeback. Down to a single 25-chip, Edler won the blinds and antes in a hand, propelling him to 350.

He moved all in again the next hand with A-Q and got one caller with K-J. But a jack flopped, no help came on the turn or river, and Edler is out.
