Tomko Looks to Tomorrow

Holding pocket rockets, Dewey Tomko called a shorter stack's all-in on a flop of {J-Diamonds}

, only to find himself up against jack-five. The turn and river didn't help Tomko, and he was down to 2,350.

A few hands later, Tomko pushed the rest of his chips in the middle after flopping an open-ended straight draw. He didn't get there, and has been eliminated.

. The late-position player checked and Richey bet 2,350. The late-position player check-raised all in and Richey folded. He's down to 5,000 -- half the starting stack.

Phil Hellmuth limped from middle position, Toto Leonidas completed from the small blind, and Chris Vaughn checked from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}

. The blinds checked, Hellmuth bet 300 (half of the pot), and only Leonidas called. The turn was the {2-Spades}

and both players checked.

The river brought the {4-Spades}

and Leonidas led out for 2,000. "Jack-four, right, Toto?" asked Hellmuth. "I lay down ace-king," he said, mucking his cards.

John Juanda then piped up. "You didn't have ace-king," he said. "You would stand up, knock your chair over, and say 'Look what I can fold, baby!'"

The table erupted into laughter, Hellmuth included.

Big hand at Table #5 just now. We picked up the action on the turn.

With a board showing {6-Diamonds}

, Joe Sebok checked from early position and David Benyamine went all in with his remaining 5,200 chips.

Benyamine showed 5-4 for the straight, but Sebok showed {6-Spades}

for quads, making the river card meaningless.
