Ever see Tori Amos in concert? Me either, but I saw her on TV once and onstage she stands between two pianos and constantly switches back and forth between them in mid-song. Vanessa Selbst is doing something similar (if completely different) right now. She's playing in both today's $2,500 No-Limit tournament as well as today's Ladies' event, and her tables are right next to each other and she's switching back and forth between them as play goes on. She's been up and down in the $2,500 event, sitting now with 37,000, while she has about 32,000 in the Ladies' event.

Thong Tran Eliminates Joe Davis

This time pocket aces held up, as the rest of the money went in on the turn, with the board reading {9-Hearts}

. Davis had a flush draw with {K-Hearts}

, but Tran had already made a full house with {A-Spades}

, and Davis was eliminated.

The Bubble Has Burst

Preflop, Jacques Zaicik moved all in and was called by Robert Fox, who had fewer chips than Zaicik. Zaicik showed A-Q while Fox held pocket kings. Things looked good for Fox, until the flop came {Q-Diamonds}

. Fox failed to improve off the turn and river and was knocked out of the event on the bubble.

Jason Mercier Doubles Up

Just before we started hand-for-hand play Jason Mercier doubled up through Fred Ford when Mercier, holding {Q-Clubs}

, flopped a set and made quads on the river and got paid off. He now sits with 130,000 while Ford slipped to 40,000.

Chris Ferguson Busts Just Off the Bubble

Vanessa Selbst Wins a Big Pot

After a

flop Vanessa Selbst bet 8,000 and was called. She then bet 10,000 after the {6-Clubs}

turned and 25,000 when the {K-Diamonds}

hit on the river and that's when she showed {A-Clubs}

for top pair on the river to take down the pot. She's now up to 155,000.

No Action for Freeman

Scott Freeman, facing a preflop raise by Stuart Baum for 5,600, moved all in for his remaining 35,100 in chips. Baum decided not to make the call, moving Freeman up to 47,000 after the hand.
