More Bad Luck for Liu

J.J. Liu can't catch a break. An opponent moved all in from under the gun for 2,725. Liu made the call and tabled {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs}. She was racing against her opponent's {A-Hearts} {8-Spades} and lost when the board came {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {9-Spades}.

Liu has just 4,900 chips left in her stack.

George Bronstein Doubles Up

George Bronstein is breathing easier after winning a clutch race. Bronstein's {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} outran the {10-?} {10-?} of his opponent when the {A-Spades} hit the flop. He doubled up to 17,000 chips, slightly above average at the moment.

Eric Stiglets Eliminated

The luck of Eric Stiglets ran out when his {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} came up short against his opponents {10-Clubs} {9-Clubs} when the board came {Q-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {10-Spades} {J-Spades} {3-Diamonds}. Stiglets had just 3,150 left to start the hand and he moved it all in preflop after a raise from under the gun. The raiser called and the rest is history.

Bad Luck for Liu

From middle position, a player moved all in for 16,000. J.J. Liu, sitting in the cutoff, was the only caller. She had her opponent dominated, her {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} against his {A-Clubs} {10-Spades}. The board came {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}, allowing her opponent to make queens and tens to her queens and fives.

Liu now has 9,500 chips remaining.

Ramdin's Return

After being severely short stacked in Level 2, Victor Ramdin has made a nice comeback and currently sits just above average with about 16,000.

Caroline Cooper Vaults up the Leaderboard

Caroline Cooper
Caroline Cooper
Caroline Cooper has hit a few hands back-to-back. Most recently, she called a turn bet of 2,300 with the board showing {5-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}. The river {5-Diamonds} brought an all-in bet from her opponent, which she also called. She was correct to do so, as her opponent's {8-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} was not as good as her {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs}.

Cooper now has about 22,000 chips.
