Klaser
Leonidas flopped two pair but the on the turn and the on the river made Klaser a higher two pair. Klaser doubled up to 110,000 while Leonidas was left with 70,000.
It was yet another classic three-way all in, Michelle Sainz in the lead with against James Lisowski's and Don Toporowski's . Sainz's kings held up on the board and she's up to155,000. Both Toporowski and Lisowski were eliminated.
You might remember Rami Boukai from last year's coverage of the WSOP Main Event. He was the poor fellow who had pocket aces versus Hevad "Rain" Khan's pocket queens, and Khan ended up making quads on the hand, eventually making it to the final table. Boukai finished 246th.
We just saw Boukai go all in here. Again he had aces -- . And once again his opponent had queens -- .
"If it comes four queens again, I'm never playing again," said Boukai.
Good news for Boukai. The board ran out , and he has now doubled up to 80,000.
Ronald Adams continues to build his stack, this time eliminating Tyler Meierotto when his outran Meierotto's on an ace-high board. Meierotto hit the rail and Adams chipped up to 271,000.
Hal Lubarsky got the rest of his chips in the middle preflop with , but unfortunately ran into Jon Weinbach's . Lubarsky could not improve his hand and he was eliminated.
Table #6 in the Green section has provided a number of interesting hands as we move deeper into the night. Jeremiah Smith has been involved in several hands, and perhaps that big hand earlier when he took one away from Stefan Mattsson with a pair of sevens on a board of 9-10-Q-9 has loosened the table up.
That might explain why just now we had a preflop raise to 3,500, and no less than six other players call to see the flop.
The flop came , and two of our seven players would emerge as interested enough to pursue the situation any further. Walter Hall bet 16,500 from the big blind, and only Stefan Mattsson called from middle position.
The turn was the , completing a possible flush. Hall bet 17,600 this time, and again Mattsson called.
The river was the . Hall bet 31,600, leaving himself about 55,000 behind. Mattson called instantly, turning over for the straight. Hall showed , and Mattsson took it.
On a flop of Toto Leonidas checked, Sverre Sundbo bet 7,000, Brian Schaedlich called and Leonidas folded. The turn was the . Sundbo checked, Schaedlich bet 16,000, Sundbo raised to 40,000, Schaedlich three-bet to 80,000 and Sundbo called. The river was the . Sundbo checked, Schaedlich moved all in and Sundbo called.
Schaedlich showed for two pair and Sundbo mucked.
"Where do you find outs?" Sundbo wondered aloud as he hit the rail.
