Katja Thater Eliminated

Auf Wiedersehen, Katja
Auf Wiedersehen, Katja
Omaha-8:

Yuval Bronshtein opened for a raise from UTG, Ville Wahlbeck called, and Katja Thater called from the big blind

The flop was {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {4-Clubs}. Thater led out, Bronshtein raised, Wahlbeck flat-called, and with the action back on Thater, she reraised all in for her last 1,200. Bronshtein called, but Walhbeck put in another raise, which Bronshtein called.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}. Bronshtein checked, Wahlbeck bet and Bronshtein called. The river fell the {6-Hearts} and Bronshtein check-folded to Wahlbeck's bet.

Wahlbeck turned up {A-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {8-Spades}, scooping the pot with a flush and a wheel. Thater mucked and hit the rail, leaving Vanessa Rousso as the last woman standing in this event.

Professor Plum-mets, In The Miranda Room, With A Smooth Nine.

Razz:

Lederer: {4-Spades} {A-Spades} {9-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Shamseddin: {2-Hearts} {J-Spades} {3-Clubs} {8-Hearts}

Soheil Shamseddin raised on 3rd and Howard Lederer reraised. Lederer bet the whole way until 6th where he was all-in, Shamseddin calling him down.

Shamseddin had {A-?} {7-?} {10-Hearts} for an 8-7-3-2-A low and Lederer flipped {2-?} {3-?} for a current 9-4-3-2-A but needed any card between a five and an eight to avoid elimination. Lederer could show another {9-?} though and he was knocked out.

Shamseddin has about 225,000.

In Harm's Way

Triple Draw:

Jennifer Harman was all-in from the big blind against Eric Froehlich. Harman drew four then two then one against Froehlich who drew two then one then stood pat. Froehlich flipped {8-?} {6-?} {5-?} {3-?} {2-?} and Harman couldn't beat it and mucked.

Chainsaw Sputters

No mas Chainsaw
No mas Chainsaw
Omaha-8:

Allen Kessler raised all in for his remaining 3,000, Markus Golser reraised to 5,000 from the button, and the big blind flat-called.

The flop was {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. The big blind checked, Golser bet, and the big blind folded.

Kessler {A-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs}
Golser {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {2-Spades}

The turn was the {5-Spades}, the river was the {3-Spades} and Golser scooped the pot with a wheel, sending the man they call Chainsaw to the rail.

Who Will Be the Last Woman Standing?

Unfortunately, Jennifer Harman will not earn that title today, as her short stack finally succumbed moments ago.

We still have two women alive and check-raising in this field, 2007 Razz bracelet winner Katja Thater and EPT High Roller champion Vanessa Rousso.

Magnus With The Big Per-sson.

Limit Hold'em:

Allie Prescott raises preflop and Magnus Persson 3-bets. Prescott cold 4-bets and Persson calls. The flop is {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and Prescott bets once more, Persson calling. On the {Qh) turn Prescott bets again and Persson raises all-in. Call.

Prescott: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Persson: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}

The river is the {5-Clubs} and Persson doubles to 39,000. Prescott still has 118,000.

Haw-Rilenk-uishes His Hand

Triple Draw:

Jimmy Fricke raises from the cutoff and Matt Hawrilenko 3-bets the button. The blinds fold and Fricke calls.

Both players draw two cards and Fricke then bets, Hawrilenko makes the call. Fricke stands pat and Hawrilenko draws two, Fricke bets again and Hawrilenko calls a second time.

On the final draw Fricke stands pat once again and Hawrilenko draws one, another bet from Gobboboy but this time Hawrilenko folds.

More chips for Gobboboy.

Harman Hanging On

2-7 Triple Draw:

Jennifer Harman raised it up from UTG+1 and got a caller in Eli Elezra from the big blind. Each player drew two cards, Elezra checking and Harman checking behind. They drew two more apiece on the second draw and checked it again. On the third draw, Elezra drew one and Harman two. Elezra bet and Harman folded.

Harman is now on the shortest of stacks with only 2,800 remaining.
