Break!

The players are on a break for a quick 5-10 minutes. When we return, the final two tables will play down until 3:00 AM local time and then call it a night.

Andrew Wang Eliminated in 13th Place ($8,855)

Andrew Wang was crippled in a hand with Franklin Kline Jr. and left with only 8,000 to toss into the middle preflop against Tommi Horkko and Kevin Hong.

Hong folded on the flop of {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} as Horkko showed down {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a draw with overcard against Wang's {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives. The turn completed the flush with the {Q-Diamonds} before the {K-Spades} fell on the river to end the day of Wang in 13th place for a collect of $8,855.

Negreanu Forced to Fold Big Slick

With the board reading {J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Daniel Negreanu was faced with a bet from a short-stacked Robert Como.

Negreanu eyed his opponent and analyzed the situation.

"You wouldn't be bluffing here? I think you have a pair" quipped Negreanu before folding {A-?}{K-?}.

Como survives as we continue to struggle to get down to our final two tables.

Fu "Grasshopper" Wong Eliminated in 14th Place ($8,855)

Fu "Grasshopper" Wong - 14th Place
Fu "Grasshopper" Wong - 14th Place
Fu "Grasshopper" Wong raised from middle position and then action folded back over to Nikolay Losev in the big blind. He took some time on deciding whether or not he would reraise to put Wong all in. Indeed he did so and Wong made the call.

Wong held {A-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Losev held {Q-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}. The flop contained a seven, {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {3-Spades}, to put Losev in the lead. The turn brought the {10-Spades} and gave Wong a lot more outs. The river was a blank with the {2-Diamonds} and that was it for Wong, as he was eliminated in 14th place.

Grasshopper Springs a Double

Fu "Grasshopper" Wong raised and had 4,000 behind. Action folded over to Nikolay Losev in the big blind and he reraised to put Wong all in. Wong made the call with {A-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}. Losev hadn't looked and squeezed his cards to reveal {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts}.

The flop came down {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {7-Clubs} and Wong stood up saying, "Oh my god, c'mon."

The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and then the river the {K-Diamonds}, pairing the board again and making Wong's ace kicker play. He clapped his hands together and then sat back down to collect his chips.

Wong Dented

Barry Shulman check-raised the flop of {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} before firing a bet on the {J-Spades} turn against Fu Wong. The action really heated up when the {6-Diamonds} landed on the river. Shulman fired another barrel and Wong announced a raise. Shulman thought for a moment before reraising with Wong making the call.

Shulman tabled {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for the straight to take it down, leaving Wong on the short stack.

Daniel Negreanu Putting on a Clinic

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu
Not only has Daniel Negreanu won the big pots where he has personally eliminated many of the players over the past two levels, but he's also picking up the small pots in between.

Remember that Negreanu picked up a bracelet in the Limit Holdem event last year, and now with in excess of 500,000 chips. He's going to be very hard to stop from here.
