Tibbles Too Strong

Facing a raise to 1,800 preflop, Tamara Tibbles made the call to see the flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} fall.

Her opponent lead out for 4,000 with Tibbles making the call. When the {J-Hearts} landed on the turn, Tibbles again called her opponent's bet; this time of 9,000.

The river landed the {3-Clubs} and this time her opponent checked to see Tibbles fire 17,000 into the pot.

Her opponent called and tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, however it would be Tibbble's {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} that was good for the pot and the giant chip lead of over 120,000 in chips.

Ho sat in the tank for a little before mucking her hand. Stern moves up to 24,000 as Ho slipped back to 25,000 in chips.

Ho Battle Liu

JJ Liu opened on the button to 1,500 and Maria Ho defended from the big blind.

The flop of {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} was checked by Ho to see Liu lead out for 2,100. With the action on Ho, she sat there riffling chips for over two minutes before making it 4,500 to go.

With Liu now forced to make a decision, she turned her head towards Ho and looked her up and down for nearly three minutes before laying her hand down.

Ho quickly mucked her hand and raked in the pot to climb to 31,400 while Liu slips to 32,700 in chips.

Maridu Mayrinck opened from middle position to 1,725, and with it folding round to Shirley Williams in the big blind she moved all in for her last 2,350. Mayrinck made the call, and the cards were tabled.

Mayrinck: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Williams: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Both players paired, but Mayrinck's kicker would play when the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to see Williams head to the rail as Mayrinck moves to 28,300 in chips.
