Eli Elezra raised in early position and Farzad Bonyadi called him from the small blind. Bonyadi check-raised the flop and then proceeded to bet the turn and river. Elezra called him all the way down, but simply mucked when Bonyadi turned over for top pair.
Tragedy for David Baker. Incredibly short, he found himself playing and must have been absolutely delighted to see a flop. He moved in and got called by Soheil Shamseddin holding .
Dan Shak raised from middle position before Josh Arieh popped it up from the cutoff. The action then folded to Kenny Hsiung in the big blind who made it 16,000 to go with a four-bet. Shak folded and Arieh made the call.
They took a flop of and Hsiung led out with a bet which Arieh called.
The turn was the and Hsiung fired again with Arieh calling once again.
On the river Hsiung fired a third barrel with Arieh eventually giving it up. A nice rush by Hsiung as he moves up to 222,000 chips.
Seidel - sidles off
Erik Seidel could not have been much more behind when tha last of his stack went in -- his was up against Maria Ho's . Both smacked the board as hard as can be, but Ho stayed ahead to send Mr. Seidel off home early.
She, meanwhile, moves on up to the environs of 190,000.
