It's Like Voltron Over Here

Four players at Table 9 got into a large pot with some big hole cards. Two players went all in, and two other players folded after raising, showing {j-}{j-} and {10-}{10-}. The all-in players showed {q-}{q-} and {k-}{k-}. The player with the kings won the hand, and a very large pot.

More Names

John Phan, Nancy Todd Tyner, Shannon Elizabeth, Jeff Vanchiro, David Baker, Eugene Todd, Tony Dunst, Jack Schanbacher, Tommy Le, Lana Maier, Catherine Calhoun, Steve Topakas and Davidson Matthew are all occupying seats in the tournament area.

Table of Death

Michael Mizrachi just sat down at Table 3. He's been having a heck of a series so far, winning the $50,000 Players' Championship and final tabling the $10,000 seven card stud event. We'd understand if you wouldn't want to sit at his table today. But how about if you had to sit with him as well as Boris Becker and French online star Nicolle Peppe?

Also across the room you can find Antonio Esfandiari, Will "The Thrill" Failla and Berry Johnston all huddled up at the same table. That may be a fun one to keep you entertained with Failla and Esfandiari, but not so much fun to play at.

Adios Annette

Annette Obrestad is hoping to make a big splash at this year's World Series. She's going to have to wait one more day, though. The young phenom wasn't able to complete her flush draw, and middle pair wasn't enough to hold to her opponent's top pair.

Peppe Down to 675

Nicolle Peppe raised to 125 from early position with only the big blind making the call to see a flop.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Peppe bet 250 when the big blind checked. The player in the big blind made the call. When the {3-Hearts} fell on the turn, the big blind bet 600, which was enough for Peppe to fold her hand, leaving her with about 675 chips.
